How much will the average deposit be in 25 years?
New research reveals that the average UK house price could hit £362,350 by 2045. This would be nearly 51% increase based on today current average of £239,196. This means that the average deposit of 10% will increased from £23,917 to £36,235.
In London the average deposit could be as much as £80,000 and In South East nearly £53,000. All other regions South West, East and North will also see significant increase according to this new research.
The real aim of this research is to show government that they have been neglecting to deliver affordable housing year on year despite promising to address UK housing crisis as the level of new homes being build is terrible.
Will the government see the reason behind these future house prices prediction? If they can deliver affordable housing stock, they may prevent it.
